Modular power supplies
How modular power supplies work
Unlike non-modular power supplies, modular power supplies do not have fixed cables and also provide the option of removing unnecessary ones.
The modular power supply, therefore, consists of individual ports and connectors that provide the ability to plug in cables as needed.
The advantages derived from its features are:
- Less energy dissipation;
- Efficient airflow;
- More practical and effective use.
Modular power supplies for the medical field
The NPM series are series of modular power supplies with a height of 1U for the medical sector, with independent module slots and the ability to change the voltage, current, and power as needed. In addition, with only 4 modules, an output voltage range from 3V to 55V can be covered.
The NMP series is equipped with intelligent functions such as an overtemperature alarm and DC OK, enabling remote control. The fan speed for cooling is automatically adjusted through the internal temperature sensing function.
Modular power supplies for the medical sector range in power from 650 watts to 1000 watts, thus offering better flexibility for a wide variety of useful applications such as for example, diagnostic and biological facilities and laser equipment.
The NMP Series complies with the medical safety standard (60601-1), and the circuit design complies with industrial standards IT 62368-1.
