Smart wireless sensor with LoRa/LoRaWAN technology: WISE-2410

WISE-2410 is a smart vibration and temperature sensor with LoRa/LoRaWAN wireless technology, belonging to the new generation of Advantech remote I/O devices. WISE-2410 is able to provide long range transmission with high penetration, low interference and low power consumption.





TECHNICAL FEATURES WISE-2410:



  • there are integrated 3-axis temperature and vibration sensors, offering speed and acceleration information (10~1000Hz and -20~50°C)
  • direct transmission of the value of the vibration characteristics is guaranteed (e.g. Velocity RMS, g peak & RMS)
  • the device can be powered by two classic batteries AA, thus guaranteeing a duration of 2 years with an hourly data transmission frequency
  • WISE-2410 supports the wireless technology LPWAN (low power wide area), LoRaWAN and LoRa, so it can offer wide coverage; thanks to the integrated antenna, it can pair with LoRaWAN WISE-6610 and LoRa WISE-4610GW gateways
  • complies with ISO 10816 and certified IP66

Smart Industry and Industrial Automation are based on the use of smart sensors able to acquire data and thus allow predictive maintenance.

WISE-2410 monitors the surface temperatures of the machines and independently calculates the vibration data. In this way it is possible to analyze the data in a timely manner and plan the necessary activities to improve the efficiency of production processes.

FOR WHICH APPLICATIONS IS WISE-2410 RECOMMENDED?



Digimax proposes WISE-2410 for use within the automated industry as conveyor belts, boilers or vacuum cleaners. WISE-2410 can also be installed on sewage pumps, escalators or baggage handling systems. When applied on rotating machines, Advantech's sensor can monitor the values of the vibration characteristics and therefore offer useful data for the management of ISO 10816 zones.

WISE-2410 is extremely easy to configure, can work within temperatures between -20°C and +85°C and has an IP-66certification for resistance to dust and water ingress. Even in harsh environments, the collection, calculation and transmission of data is therefore ensured by this device. The WISE-2410 also uses a low power consumption solution and can be operated by two 3.6 V AA lithium batteries.
