The linear camera consists of sensors placed on a single line. Unlike the matrix one, it, therefore, produces an image consisting of a single line of pixels and the complete image is built on the computer, taking advantage of the movement between the object and the camera.
In this case, the image is decoded by means of an encoder which reconstructs the movement of the object while the camera is fixed, placed at the top of the observation point: the object is scanned by passing it under the 'target. In this way, you will get a very high resolution, a very important feature when it is necessary to do quality control of a particular product (for example during processing).
Digimax's industrial vision and quality control solutions comply with Certifications CE, FCC, UL and RoHS and guarantee excellent quality and processing speed thanks to the possibility of correcting the light field of the target object.
