What are the advantages of COB LEDs?
COB LEDs feature a single circuit with two contacts for the entire chip; the main consequence therefore lies in the simplicity of creating the entire module. The reduction of necessary components, combined with the elimination of the classic case, also has a notable impact on the reduction of the heat generated by the chip; the latter is in fact one of the main problems of this technology, overcome by coupling it with the right heat sink, capable of transmitting heat actively or passively and reducing the overall operating temperature of the entire group.
Digimax always recommends paying attention when choosing the right heat sink since in this way you will be able to fully exploit the chosen device, drastically reducing the possibility of malfunction and increasing its efficiency and operational life.
