The rack cabinet is the structure that various environments and technological contexts use to contain and organize electronic equipment such as servers, network switches, storage units and industrial PCs.
The physical structure of rack cabinets has become a standard over time: 19"" wide and divided into height profiles called units (1U, 2U, 3U...). A standard rack cabinet usually houses from 12 to 48 units, which can in turn be grouped into shelves, to allow the installation of rack mount components and inside it can be housed industrial PCs with chassis and high-power power supplies, configured to guarantee the electrical power supply of the systems with which they are associated.
