AC/DC Battery charger
Smart AC/DC charging devices with metal or plastic cases transform the AC current from the power grid into DC current by adjusting the voltage according to the needs of the device that needs to be powered electrically.
Although battery chargers fall into the macro family of power supplies, they cannot be said to be the same thing. Power supplies provide current at a certain voltage, while battery chargers always provide current but follow certain steps:
- the charge itself;
- the trickle charge: used when the charging accumulator has reached its maximum level.
The chargers are designed with an MCU microprocessor capable of operating with 4 stages of charging and possess various Plug out options including the crocodile connector.
The built-in CANBus protocol found within the NPB, FSP and RPB series enables remote monitoring of the charger.
Application areas:
AC/DC battery chargers offered by DIGIMAX are chargers designed for electric cars, motorcycles and electric vehicles, emergency lights and portable electronic instruments, among other applications.
Digimax has a range of battery chargers for electric vehicles thanks to its collaboration with FSP Group, which enables it to offer highly reliable solutions, as the features themselves have been tested in the Digimax Lab.
