Integrated circuits
What are integrated circuits
Through collaboration with Japanese supplier Nasshimbo, Digimax offeres a wide series of integrated circuits in its catalog.
An integrated circuit is an electrical device made on a base of silicon, a semiconductor material, in which the active (transisord, diode, ect) and passive (resistors, condensers, ect) elements are include in the same base.
It is housed in a usually plastic case with terminals that allow connection to the outside world.
Integrated circuit are mainly divided into two categories:
- - analogic: used to process analogic signals that can vary arbitrarly with continuity over time;
- - digital: handle digital signals that can only take the value 0 and 1.
Application areas of integrated circuits
Generally, integrated circuits are dedicated to power control, battery protection, and real-time clocks.
It is usually used to store a large number of transistors that fit together to perform certain electronic tasks.
The integrated circuits can have several uses, including:
- - communication devices;
- - computer;
- - household appliance;
- - as a power source for battery-powered devices;
- - as a power failure detector.
Digimax promotes items such as real time clock modules, voltage regulators, and high voltage detectors combined with timers.
