Fortronic 2022 is the leading Italian event dedicated to electric mobility technologies and market. Organised by Tecno with the support of Assodel, Fortronic has reached its 18th edition and this year will be held in close synergy with E-TECH 2022, an international event focused on the most innovative technologies related to electric vehicles.

The E-TECH and Fortronic event and conferences will be held in Italy at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, 12-13 April 2022 and Digimax will be present at Stand B42.

What differentiates Fortronic from other electric mobility events?

Fortronic 2022 will be held in Bologna, the capital of Italy's Motor Valley, home to the world's most famous carmakers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Maserati, Ducati, Pagani and Dallara. The tradition and know-how surrounding the automotive world permeate this area, and the electrification process of intelligent mobility can only start here.

Digimax will present the main industrial solutions compatible with the electric mobility sector that more and more companies are using to develop and manage the solutions that will permeate tomorrow's mobility. From new power-supply and backup solutions, through the computing capacity of industrial PCs and panel PCs that can be used in charging stations for electric vehicles, with a continued focus on integrated smart parking solutions and IIoT technologies such as LoRAMQTT and NB-IoT.

What are the main markets for electric mobility?

The emobility market will be the driver for green transport change. The European Commission has adopted a package of measures to enable the EU's climate, energy, land use and transport policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels. The aim is therefore to bring Europe to zero climate impact by 2050.

The car market will therefore have to confirm a reduction in emissions of 55% from 2030 and 100% from 2035 compared to 2021 levels and as a result, all new cars registered from 2035 onwards will be zero-emission, battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Several vehicle manufacturers have already announced business plans that look to the future with colossal investments in switching from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, and many car manufacturers will stop selling internal combustion engine cars in Europe by 2030.

So which are the main industrial markets affected by this profound change?
